Yaoicon report

Sorry guys, it’s taken me a few days to get my life/mind back together. As you may know, I attended Yaoicon in San Francisco last week. Had a good time.

Forgot my camera so I thank my good friends Jade, James and Luisa for allowing me to post a few pics of theirs on my site: http://www.jetmykles.com/home/image-gallery/yaoicon-2008/

The very best single thing that happened all week happened in the first few minutes of Saturday after we’d opened the booth. Imagine my surprise to look up and see someone standing there dressed as one of MY characters!! It was too damn cool!

I met a lot of wonderful people. Thank you to those who came by to say hi, with an additional thank you to those who bought my books 😀 Much appreciated.

Loved seeing my author buddies again. It was a whirlwind week, though, so I didn’t get to spend much time with them outside of the vendor room. But that’s okay. We’ll get together again soon.

OH! If you go look at the pictures, do pause to appreciate Tall, Dark and Yummy. He was SO very hot!

  1. OMG, Tall Dark and Yummy was almost worth the whole con <>

I was not remotely insulted. I’m honored and I often times do wish I could write faster.

    thank you!

  2. Thanks so much for signing Heaven Sent for me at Yaoicon! Hope you weren’t insulted when I said “write faster.” I was only kidding. I really love all your works, yaoi and het. Keep up the SINtillating writing!
PS. Tall, dark and handsome was one of my favorites too along with the suited cat Bishi, who was drool-worthy with his shirt on or off!

  3. I’m still jazzed that you were there and you signed the books I bought! I have bought and read the e-books but it’s not the same as holding them in your hands. Yours have always been some of my favorite stories. Thank you so much!

  4. You didn’t get a picture of the person dressed as you character? Pooh… That would have been interesting to see, since you don’t say which character!
