Did I say it was almost here? Well, I guess Amazon likes me. Because not a few hours later, it was made live.
Okay, kids, I finished the first round of edits on the remix of Purgatory. Not quite ready to release. Got to get at least a few hardy souls to read it and check me on things like continuity and grammar, but we’re close!
The 40Kish book is now a little over 60K and most of that is Luc’s added scenes. Although, there’s quite a bit of tweaking of Reese too. I’m pretty sure the feel and spirit of the story remains, along with most of the original scenes, just most of it is… let’s say enhanced.
Stay tuned. This one will be available on Kindle just like Heaven.
Available April 21, 2019
The Weiss Strande Hotel is in trouble. Business just isn’t what it used to be when Tyler’s father ran the family-owned hotel. On top of business being down, Dad’s now sick with cancer so bills have skyrocketed. Desperate to save his family livelihood, Tyler sinks his hopes and money into a new venture: a nightclub at the hotel. It’s imperative that the White Room is a success, or else the hotel will go under. Lady Luck seems to be with them, however, because they manage to sign the mega-popular rock group Heaven Sent to play the grand opening.
Already a huge fan of the group, Tyler couldn’t be more excited to welcome them to his hotel. He’s not at all prepared for the bomb of lust that hits him when he’s finally face-to-face with the painfully gorgeous lead singer, Johnnie Heaven. No, it couldn’t be lust. Yes, Johnnie’s probably the most beautiful person he’s ever seen, but Tyler is straight! It must be a misguided form of hero worship that he’s feeling.
Tyler finds out that he and Johnnie share an obsession: video games. When Johnnie invites Tyler to his room to play, Tyler jumps at the chance. Who wouldn’t snap up the opportunity to spend time with their idol?
He and Johnnie have a great time with the games, but Tyler soon discovers that Johnnie’s got more in mind. The rock star’s aims to introduce Tyler to a whole new level of game play.

Tyler tried to put Johnnie’s whereabouts from his mind, but he couldn’t quite manage it. He knew when Johnnie left the bar and trailed along into the dark part of the room behind the couch. Tyler panicked, wondering what he was doing, but he didn’t dare look. A click, then sounds from the bedroom, told him that Johnnie had left the room. Tyler bit his lip and fought a groan, not wanting to think of Johnnie anywhere near a bed. The sound of running water told him that the man was in the bathroom, but then his mind filled with what Johnnie looked like wet. He was like that in one of the band’s videos, and Tyler had always suppressed the fact that he found that video particularly stimulating.
Yeah, he had to get out of here!Continue reading Heaven – excerpt
About five minutes ago, I uploaded the “extended remix” of Heaven to Amazon.
Yep, the boys in the band are coming back. Johnnie and Tyler are imminent and the others will be along as soon as I do the remix of their stories.
What do I mean by remix? I mean that I went back in, smoothed some rough edges, modified some bits that I never liked and — *gasp* — added some scenes in Johnnie’s point-of-view. That’s right, for all of you who’ve asked and begged over the years, these scenes are for you. I hope you like them.
I’m not in charge of how quickly Amazon can get the book up on the site so I’m not sure on the “when”, but it’s coming. I decided to go ahead and make it available through Kindle Unlimited and the lending library as well. Some of you might get some use out of that.
I’m out of practice with getting the word out so bear with me. I’ll get the book page and except here updated in the next week or so then this old broad needs to figure out the social medias. But you’ve heard it here first!
Today I’ve got a guest post on A.O. Chika’s Book Blog about re-using my Heaven Sent characters in the Rose Family Chronicles.
Check it out! Loose Id has releases all the Heaven Sent books in one neat little package.
The normal price will be $17.99 but right now, it’s $7.99.
Okay, contract is signed so I feel comfy talking about it now.
The Rose Family Chronicles will be familiar for readers of Heaven Sent. Why? Because it’s the same characters. Yep, In Rose Family Chronicles 1: Valet, Johnnie and Tyler start things off again except this time Johnnie is the Earl of Rose. Within the Rose family are his sister Gretchen and his twin brothers Brent and Reese. Tyler is a middle class man who comes to Rose Hall looking for job and lands one, first as a footman, then as Johnnie’s personal valet. You can guess the general path of the story from there. All the principles will show up eventually, and a lot of the secondary characters have been repurposed as well.
The setting is somewhat historical. Why somewhat? Because, dear readers, I am not a history buff. I dabble in the details, swipe freely from other periods when I deem necessary, then outright change and make up anything I think I can get away with.
I’ve had fun writing it. My beta readers have had fun reading it. I hope, in the next few months when it comes out, you’ll enjoy it too.
Stay tuned for more details on the release date.
I did an interview with Prism Book Alliance, mostly about Heaven Sent. May be worth checking out (she says coyly). Also, if you check out the main site, they’ve reviewed some of the books as well.
All right, kids, I just signed a new contract. *gasp* I know, it’s been so long! But it’s true and today I just finished the first draft. I’m going to wait to receive the signed contract back before making the announcement.
But I will say this. Heaven Sent fans should be pleased. At least, I hope so.
It’s a “box” set of the four short stories in the Heaven Sent series. Nothing new in the text but there is a GORGEOUS new cover!
Currently at a special price of $1.99. That’s the price of one of the stories!
