Moment of Truth
“But can't you be my truemate?” she asked, again.
Sadly, Krael shook his head. “I've never heard of it happening the first time, Suza.”
“But there's no reason it can't.” She tried to sound reasonable.
He kissed her rather than answer her. “I love you, Suza,” he murmured.
Outside the thick door, Radin used his sorcerous powers to eavesdrop on the lovers. His snowy brows shot skyward at the protestation of love. What was this?!
Confidently, Radin swept into the room, heedless of the lovers' nude embrace. Krael, first to sense his presence, lifted his head, growling like a panther. Radin met his gaze, staring down the angry man. “Are we at issue, Krael?” he asked softly.
Krael actually snarled.
Although thrilled at the signs of her lover's protectiveness, Suza raised a soothing hand to stroke the silky black skin of his arm.
Reluctantly, slowly, Krael subsided.

Absolutely -loved- the end of Mastered. One of the best reads in quite a long time, and Krael became a fast favorite. Even better that I got to come on here and see pictures!!

Thank you! The artwork on this site and in the interior of the Dark Elves book are done by me in a program called Poser. There’s also another program called DAZ Studio that’s a lot like it. I also use Photoshop to touch things up.
