“No!”
Krael looked away from the hurt in her eyes. Eight days of bliss. Eight days of losing himself in her tiny body. But on this, the beginning of the last day, he had to tell her. So he did. He told her that this could possibly be their last time together. That if she wasn't pregnant by the time one of the sorcerer's came to test her, she would be passed to the next man.
“I don't want another,” she breathed, clutching his hands. “I want you!”
He shook his head, trying to harden his heart. “It can't be. For whatever reason, we're only fertile with our truemates. If you and I aren't, I have to step aside and allow him the chance to find you.” And then Krael would forever have to quell the urge to tear him limb from limb!
“But you could be my truemate, couldn't you? You have to be!”
Unable to take anymore, Krael folded her into his embrace. “Stop crying,” he ordered sternly, sitting on the bench to hold her trembling body.
She sputtered, but struggled to obey. “Please,” she whispered when she finally had her voice. Desperately, she kissed the side of his neck. “Please.”
He didn't know what she was asking. He allowed her escape when she slid from his arms to her knees before him. She raised those huge, gorgeous violet eyes to his. “Please,” she said again, squeezing the taut muscles of his thighs through his trousers.
“Please what, Suza?”
She lowered that imploring gaze and kissed his thigh, just above his knee. “Please,” she repeated, kissing her way down over his knee down to his boots. To his utter astonishment, he watched her small, round mouth open and that tiny tongue dart out to lick the leather of his boots. No other woman had ever done such a thing for him, although he'd heard tell of them. Had always wanted to find one. Now he had!
And he might lose her!
“Please. I'm yours,” she insisted, her tongue bolder now as she tasted the buttery soft leather. “I only want you. My lord.”
He shivered. Through eight days, he'd allowed her to call him “lord”. It seemed to please her. It definitely pleased him. If Nalfien or Radin found out and thought he coerced her, there'd be hell to pay.
“Suza,” he groaned as her small hands took hold of his boot and began to ease it off.
“You,” she insisted with all the strength in that tiny body, showing as much determination as she had during all their time together. “Yours and none other's.”

To fill in everyone else, this was a request. I really don't do submission well, as you can probably tell by Diana. Like Diana, my idea is to fight until you find the one that can MAKE you submit willingly. But Suza is Lovesong's character and I'm trying to stay true to her. I think I've done OK so far. Hopefully, I've continued.
