This one is about Meg, Michael, Rudy and Logan (remember him?), following along with things that were introduced in Leashed 3: The Lion’s Share. By necessity, description of this one contains spoilers for the last book so read ahead cautiously.

BLURB:

Sometimes we get what we never wanted, and Meg never wanted to be grand dame. Now that she’s got the job, she’s doing her damnedest to do it right. But it’s far from a one woman show.

Michael is the one who really should be running the show, but his newly discovered magic powers make managing his own life almost too much to handle. Then there’s Rudy. Sweet Rudy who is all about doing everything he can, but who’s just too young and inexperienced to be much help. So what’s a busy grand dame to do?

Lucky for Meg, she’s got one more shapeshifter to lean on. Connections, personality and background make Logan uniquely suited to be Meg’s righthand man, at least in the public eye. Problem is, he claims to be in love with her. It’s not that she doesn’t think he’s great — because she does — but there’s no more room in her bed or her heart for another man.

Just to make matters worse, a witch and a shapeshifter from Michael’s past arrive in LA asking for help.

    I’m trying! Got to get a few other projects done. I guess that’s my curse for introducing so many series.
    I can tell you that it won’t be early 2009 though. DE6 and HS Revelations come first. sorry!

    woohoo I really enjoy all the series but I must say leashed is my fav. Really want to see more of Meg, Michael and Rudy in action they/re hot and how Logan is going to work in very hot and now more politics and magic I uv it! Really excited about getting a L4

    Thanks! I’m really hoping I can get this one at least turned in by the end of the year. I’m pretty sure I know what happens, but I need to iron out the details before I submit for a contract.

    I have been reading the Leashed series over the past few days and I LOVE it! I know it will be awhile before the new one comes out but I seriously cannot wait! Thanks for the great reads and keep up the good work!

    I adore your Dark Elves as well as the Leashed Series and have reread each a few times to deal with my addiction, LOL…

    Just read your Loose Ends for this month. May I please vote for Leased 4? Is there a web site we as your readers need to go to and let Loose ID know that they need to give you a new contract for L4? I enjoyed the Dark Elves series but I have to say it, I am panting for more Rudy and Michael.

    I believe Leashed 4 is very close to becoming my next WIP. I’m still waffling a little, but Meg might just be a little louder than any of the new characters.

    Please don’t contact Loose Id about it. Not their fault there’s no contract, it’s all mine. As soon as I settle on writing it, I’ll submit a proposal to them.

    I knew when I read the teaser for Leashed I would want the rest of the series. So I was smart enough to purchase the whole series at once on Loose ID. Addicting! So it is 2010 now and wondering if you are closer to starting/completing Leashed 4. Reading the other comments . . . enjoy the Dark Elves series but totally loved Leased. Fans can be so demanding!

    I have started Leashed 4 but I had to abandon it because the story wasn’t going well. I need to rethink it. so it’s on hold for the moment.

    Hey jet

    I just wanted to say that I finally bought all the dark elves, heaven sent, and leashed so far all at once in print. So now I have a box full of hot reads to occupy my spare time. So please take your time making leashed 4. I’m sure Meg and the boys will tell you to write about them at some point. And I’m sure it will be well worth the wait. Might I suggest making a few lovely visuals which I have missed seeing as of late. that always seemed to inspire you. I do hope you get inspiration back but until then I can reread your other wonderful masterpeices!

    I’m about to send off the current WIP to my editor. Then I’m back to work on Reverb. Then, I think, I’m coming back to this one. I think I figured out what had me stumped when I stopped last year. So, keep your fingers crossed with me *crossed*

    Im a big fan of you and i love your series. Now im reading the Dark elves story, and early i had read the leashed 1 and 2 only and i have to read in inglish because, in spanish its so hard to find a good book like this to read.
