Ugh yeah I heard it was something really expensive like that. Even if I was a serious author I wouldnt go I just think thats too much to pay. Im used to paying anime con prices which I think are fair. Theres going to be a twilight convention around where I live and thats $255. Im certainly not attending that but might walk around the hotel and watch ppl sparkle.

RWA is primarily for authors — published and unpublished — but I think non-authors sometimes go. There’s a few book signings that are open to the public. You should contact Jade through her site and see if she’s going to RT. That’s mainly a readers conference.
RWA is between $400-500, depending on if you’re a member or not and when you register.

Can non authors go there? And how much does it cost? I was never interested in RWA before but I’d go now since the RRW are there now. I’d also would love to met Jade Buchanan.
